Recommendations for Dataset 3: STRAIGHTFORWARD REGRESSION EXAMINATION (30 Marks)

A statistician collected data on four hundred father-son pairs to examine Galton's law. The variables in the dataset are:

Dads (fathers' height in centimetres)

a) Estimate a regression version using fathers' heights to predict sons' heights (state the simple linear regression equation).

b) Understand the meaning of the slope.
